Willhite

Mrs. Libby Olivia Willhite, age 67, of Red Level passed away Thurs., March 3, 2016, at Flowers Hospital.

A graveside service will be held 9:30 a.m., Sat., March 5, 2016, in the River Falls cemetery with the Rev. Lloyd Snellgrove officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside 30 minutes before services.

Survivors include her son, Gene H. Willhite of Andalusia; her brother, Ray (Marcia) Thompson of Elba; sister, Barbara Griggs of Red Level; grandchildren, Chad Willhite, Cody Willhite and Nathan Willhite; and several great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Willhite was preceded in death by her son, Marty Willhite.

 

Harold Thomas Lipps

Mr. Harold Thomas Lipps, age 84, of Andalusia passed away at his residence on March 4, 2016. He was originally of Leesburg, Fla., and moved to Andalusia in 1991.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tues., March 8, at Church of God Church on Brooklyn Road. Brother Glen Vaughn will officiate the service.

Mr. Lipps is survived by daughter, Gloria Lipps of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Judy Lipps of Martin, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Glenda Lipps of Wildwood, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Tina Lipps of Coleman, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Nancy Lipps; wife, Margaret Lipps; son, Thomas Lipps; brother, Allen Lupps, Jr.; and sister, Lois.
