An Opp teen is behind bars for breaking into an automobile.
Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald said that as a result of an ongoing investigation, investigators and officers arrested Manderius Mount, 18, for unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
McDonald said Mount was processed at the OPD and was remanded to the Covington County Jail.
He was being held on a $20,000 bond.
“Our citizens are reminded to not let their guards down,” McDonald said. “There are other individuals in Covington County what are involved in the same or similar crimes.”
