Covington Region Honor Flight is looking for veterans for its next flight, which is in the planning phase.

Honor Flight officials are making plans for the next trip, which will be next spring.

The trip will be the organization’s seventh flight.

The program takes veterans, free of charge, to Washington, D.C., for the day, where they will visit sites such as the World War II memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Korean and Vietnam memorials.

Organizers are looking to take any remaining World War II veterans who haven’t had the opportunity to go on the trip, as well as veterans of Korea and Vietnam.

Funding is always needed for the program.

Those wanting to know more about the program or who wish to donate may contact Greg White, CRHF chairman, and a board member will be happy to provide more information to civic clubs, churches and individuals.

The organization also received its 501 (c) (3) status with the IRS.
