Ruby Louise Tomlin
Mrs. Ruby Louise Tomlin, age 90, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., March 16, 2016.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sat., March 19, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda T. Morris of Andalusia, Sandra and Keith Maddox of Andalusia, Joann and Wayne Knox of Andalusia, Robbin Glaser of Mobile; grandchildren, April Holland, Bethany Chance, Ben Chance, Jodie (Mark) Moody, Jayson Knox, and Fran (Justin) Faircloth; six great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Betty Tomlin of Niagara Falls, NY, Giles and Rebecca Tomlin of Spanish Fort, AL; and sister, Bonnie Hill Impecoven of Winter Haven, FL
She is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Benson Tomlin; her father, Warren Gomillion; mother, Leota Cox Gomillion; brothers, J. V. Gomillion, J. Wilbert Gomillion, and Grady Gomillion.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Eva Nell Norris Powell
Mrs. Eva Nell Norris Powell, age 73, of Andalusia, went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2016, at her residence surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harold Powell; sons and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Leigh Powell and Donny Powell; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and David Morris; daughter-in-law, Kristi Powell; 8 grandchildren, Haydn (Jamey) Greene, Jared (Hannah) Powell, Erin (Jarad) Hughes, Garrett (Abigail) Powell, Ethan Powell, Katie (Jordan) McLelland, Kaleb Powell, and Chelsea Powell; 2 great grandchildren, Carson Powell and Cooper Greene; her mother, Eva Rae Norris; 4 brothers, and a sister.
She was preceded to heaven by her son, Johnny Powell, and her father, Obie Norris.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., March 19, 2016, in Enon Baptist Church with Brother Mark Perry and Brother Judd Holderfield officiating, interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Fri., March 18, 2016, at Foreman Funeral Home.

Ellen Danita Messick
Mrs. Ellen Danita Messick, age 57, of Andalusia, Ala., went home to her Savior Wed., March 16, 2016.
A funeral service for Mrs. Messick will be held at 11 a.m. Sat., March 19, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wyatt Funeral Home. A viewing will be held at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials can be made to Forever Reins, a benefit for special needs children (foreverreins.blogspot.com).
Mrs. Messick is survived by her husband, Tim Messick; children, Lydia Ellis and her husband Matt; Hannah Clifford and her husband, Jason; and David Messick; sister, Margaret Donaldson and her husband Roy; granddaughter, Madison Grace Ellis; mother-in-law, Martha H. Messick; brother-in-law, Ricky Messick and his wife Lori; nieces and nephews, Katy Messick, Taylor Messick, Scott Mooney and family, and Lori Caldwell and Family.

James Varner
Mr. James Varner, age 85, of Andalusia passed away Thurs., March 17, 2016, at Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services for Mr. Varner will be held at 10 a.m., Mon., March 21, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dale Norris officiating and burial following in the Stone Lake Gardens cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Mr. Varner is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Varner; daughter and son-in-law, Jammie Ann and Buddy Clark of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, James Jr. and Linda Varner of Andalusia, Jimmie Varner of Andalusia, Johnnie and Billy Varner of Greenville, and Jerry and Susan Varner of Loango; 12 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie Mae and Gary Ellis of Brewton; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Wayne and Ann Varner of Repton; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy A. and Matha Lois Varner; grandchild, Katelyn Varner; brothers, Randle Varner, Jack Varner, Leonard Varner, and William Allen Varner; and sisters, Mary Sue Johnson and Mattie Lois Varner.
