EDITH JACOBS
Edith Fendley Jacobs of Bagdad, Fla., beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2016.
Born Dec. 9, 1928 in Loango, she graduated from Red Level High School and attended Troy State University.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Furman and Minnie Fendley; sister, Louise; brothers, Mike and Max Fendley; and her son, Danny Jacobs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Dan Jacobs; son, Kent Jacobs; granddaughter, Kelli Ward; grandsons, Erik, Brian and Casey Jacobs; sisters, Anne Penninger and Margaret Crenshaw; and brothers, John and Tony Fendley.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tues., March 22, 2016, at Mitchell Cemetery in Loango with Brother P. J. McClung officiating. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home.

RICHARD M. CROSS
Mr. Richard M. Cross, 82, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., March 20, 2016, in Dothan.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wed., March 23, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Cross of Andalusia; his daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Diane and Bobby Krell, Cathy Lynn Cross and Robert Detwiler of Tallahassee, Fla; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher R. and Donna Cross of Calvary, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Haylee Cross, Cash Cross, Zachary Krell, Alex Krell, Savannah “Sassy” Detwiler, and Luke Detwiler.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
