Locals among 58 inducted into PTK

LBW Community College recently held a spring induction ceremony on the Andalusia campus for 58 new members of the Alpha Beta Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK).

PTK is an international honor society for two-year college students who excel academically. Requirements include a 3.5 grade point average or above, full-time student, good citizenship, and high moral standards.

Those inducted in the Alpha Beta Eta chapter attend classes on LBWCC’s campus in Andalusia or Opp.
