Jonathan Hugh Sellers

Mr. Jonathan Hugh Sellers, age 66, of Red Level, passed away on Mon., March 28, 2016.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wed., March 30, at the First United Methodist Church of Andalusia with Dr. Jason Thrower and Dr. Tim Trent officiating the service. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Tues., March 29, 2016, at Foreman Funeral Home and he will lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ellen Sellers of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Jennifer Sellers of Andalusia, Josh and Lucy Sellers of Birmingham, and Jason and Erica Sellers of Birmingham; grandchildren, Hannah Sellers, Jacob Sellers, and James Sellers; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Norman Hobson of Andalusia; mother-in-law, Joann Geohagan of Florala; niece, Mary Elizabeth Hobson; and nephew, Hunter (Ali) Hobson.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan Harold Sellers.

Pallbearers will include Mike O’Neal, Lester O’Neal, Bob O’Neal, Hunter Hobson, Bill Sellers, Mickey Pitts, Bill Rabren, and Walt Merrell.

 

Thomas Bibb Cottle, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Bibb Cottle, Jr., age 76, of Gantt passed away Mon., March 28, 2016, at Andalusia Hospital. Mr. Cottle was a lifelong resident of the Dunn’s Bridge Community.

He is survived by his children, Angela Cottle Butler (late Richard “Rickey” Butler) of Dallas, Ga., and John Cottle of Gantt; four grandchildren, Brandon and Annie Butler, and Lexie and Mandi Cottle.

Mr. Cottle was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Bibb Cottle, Sr. and Lavonia Ann Baisden Cottle; and his son-in-law, Richard “Rickey” Butler.

Visitation will be Tues., March 29, 2016, from 5-7 p.m., at Keahey Funeral Home with services Wed., March 30, 2016, at 11 a.m., at the Keahey chapel with the Rev. Wayne Sharpe officiating. Burial will be at Cold Water Congregational Church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan McCormick, Daron Bulger, Craig Cottle, Glenn Cottle, Jimmy Cottle and Michael Cottle.

B.J. Lanier

Ms. B.J. Lanier, age 31, of Andalusia passed away Mon., March 28, 2016, at her residence.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., April 2, 2016, at the residence of Mrs. Linda McLelland, 11285 Pinehill Road, Andalusia.

Survivors include her father, Jerry Lanier of Montgomery; mother and step-father, Linda McLelland (Brad) of Andalusia; son, Mitch McLelland of Andalusia; brother, Jonathan Lanier; sisters, Heather Watson and Jenna Lanier; and several aunts and uncles.
