Runoff election is today

Polls open at 7 this morning for run off elections for two races – state and one local.
Locally, two candidates are vying for the County Commission District 4 seat.
• Kyle Adams, a current police officer and member of the Alabama National Guard.
There’s also a runoff for District 1 state Board of Education.
• Kylan Lewis, a retired aerospace engineer.
• Matthew Brown, incumbent, is a Fairhope resident and engineer with the Baldwin County Highway Department. Gov. Bentley appointed Brown to the board in July.
• Jackie Zeigler, is a retired principal at Mary B. Austin Elementary School in Mobile. While she was principal the school won the National Blue Ribbon Award.
To vote in the runoff, you must present a valid photo ID. Those include:
• Valid driver’s license;
• Valid Non-driver ID;
• Valid Alabama photo voter ID;
• Valid state issued ID (Alabama or any other state);
• Valid federal issued ID;
• Valid US passport;
• Valid employee ID from federal government, state of Alabama, county government, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state;
• Valid student or employee ID from a college or university in the State of Alabama;
• Valid military ID;
• Valid tribal ID.
