A Florala man recently was arrested on grand jury indictments from a 2014 case.
Tobias Adams, 35, was arrested in January 2014 in a “money for pills” scheme by Florala Police Department.
Then-Florala Police Officer Sgt. Paul Adams said at the time of the arrest that, “we took him down in a traffic stop after our confidential source went and made a transaction, money for pills.”
He was booked into the Covington County Jail at the time on a $100,000 bond for distribution of a controlled substance.
The grand jury indicted him on the same charge.
The indictment says that Adams was within a three-mile radius of a school or public housing authority.
The grand jury indictment said Adams was allegedly selling hydrocodone.
He was booked into the county jail on a $150,000 bond.
