John Monroe Powell
John Monroe Powell, 58, of Andalusia, passed away on Thurs., April 14, 2016, in the Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
He is survived by his fiancé, Brenda Paulson; sons – JR and BJ Powell of Alabama; four grandchildren; his brother, Robert Powell of Andalusia; sister, Bobbie Nell Readinger of Temple, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roland Powell and Josephine Donaldson; children, Robin and Vicky Powell, and sister, Katie Williamson.
Services will be private.
Henry Lomax Cassady
Memorial services for Henry Lomax Cassady will be held Sat., May 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Fairhope Unitarian Fellowship, 1150 Fairhope Ave., in Fairhope, Ala.
Mr. Cassady died April l7, 2016.
He was a native of Andalusia and the former mayor of Evergreen, where he lived for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Powell Cassady; his son, Max Cassady, and his daughter-in-law, Utopia Cassady; grandchildren, Harper and Walt Cassady; his daughter, Charlotte Cassady, and her wife, Sima Teherani-Ami; his sister, Christine Teal of Andalusia; and brother-in-law, Abner R. Powell III of Andalusia.
Clarence Rhett Trousdale, Jr.
Mr. Clarence Rhett Trousdale, Jr., 89, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., May 3, 2016, in Andalusia Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sat., May 7, 2016, at Foreman Funeral Home with Dr. Jason Thrower officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Level United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Foreman Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Allene Trousdale of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law, Rhett and Diane Trousdale of Eufaula; daughters and son-in-law, Katherine Ann Trousdale and Elise and Bill Hamby all of Andalusia; granddaughter, Cameron Hamby; great granddaughter, Alisa Guilford; and sisters, Patricia Campbell and Jane Watson both of Montgomery.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Rhett and Mae Dene Trousdale, Sr., and a nephew, Robert Alan Dickey.
