OPD arrests man for meth

An Opp man was arrested Thursday for possessing meth.

Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald said that officers were dispatched to a suspicious person call in the area of Miller Avenue.

B-Shift officers responded to the area and made contact with a male adult individual.

They arrested Jason Lee Kendrick, 21, of Opp.

He was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession for drug paraphernalia.

He was remanded to the Covington County Jail and his bond has been set at $13,000.
