Susie Parrish Lawson

Mrs. Susie Parrish Lawson, 79, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., May 8, 2016, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tues., May 10, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Brother Ed Ganus officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will meet with friends at the cemetery following the service.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Lawson of Andalusia; two sisters-in-law, Martha Parrish of Andalusia and Sheila Parrish of Level Plains; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eugene Lawson; a son, Ronald Glenn Lawson; four brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to help with funeral expenses.

Janet Lee Messer Anderson

Ms. Janet Lee Messer Anderson, 47, of Opp passed away Wed., May 4, 2016, at her residence.

Janet is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Toyia and Kyle Colquett; son, Tyler Wyatt; mother, Betty Lou Wise Messer; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Bruce Jones and Becky and Jimmy Foster; brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Mandy Messer; grandchildren, Heidi, Karter & Sophie Colquett; nieces and nephews; Brian Jones, Jarrod Jones (Tracie), Levi Jones (Sara), Abby Foster Daugherty (Justin), Jamie Foster Killian (Justin), Daulton Messer, Walker Messer and Hank Messer; and great nieces and nephews, Brayden Jones, Hayston Jones, Brandt Jones, Millicent Nolen, Mamie Jones and Amelia Jones. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Earl Messer.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sat., May 7, 2016, from Ino Baptist Church with burial following in the Ino Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was at Wyatt Funeral Home.

Garry Winstead officiated with Aaron Hightower delivering the eulogy. Special music was provided by members of the Ino Baptist Church Ensemble. Serving as pallbearers was Brian Jones, Jarrod Jones, Levi Jones, Daulton Messer, Walker Messer, Hank Messer, Justin Killian and Justin Daugherty.

The family received friends at the home of Becky and Jimmy Foster, 25086 Reaves Road, Opp, AL 36467.

 

Clyde L. Faust

Mr. Clyde L. Faust, age 84, of Red Level passed away, Sat., May 7, 2016.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m., Mon., May 9, 2016, in the Sweet Home Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Larry Smith officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family received friends one hour prior to servdices at the Sweet Home Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Faust of Red Level; sons, Wayne Lee (Kim) Faust of Thomasville, Ala., and Steve Lavon (Jana) Faust of McKenzie, Ala.; daughter, Sharon Lynn ( Byron ) Presley of Folkston, Ga.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers included Cliff Faust, Alex Faust, Jacob Faust, Ethan Faust, Dustin Faust and Steven Cook.
