Pleasant Home’s Lady Eagles have battled their way through the loser’s bracket, and find themselves right back where they started: facing Kinston.

The Lady Eagles fell to the Lady Bulldogs in the opening round of the Girls 1A Varsity Softball South Regional Thursday. Kinston advanced through the winner’s bracket, defeating J.U. Blacksher, then falling to Brantley.

The Lady Eagles defeated Fruitdale Thursday night, and bested both Millry (9-3) and J.U. Blacksher (2-1) today.

The game against Kinston was set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
