Martha Pruitt Parrish

Mrs. Martha Pruitt Parrish, age 88, of Andalusia passed away at Andalusia Manor on May 12, 2016.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Mon., May 16, at Adellum Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Boles officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Parrish is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl Hamlet of Andalusia, Theresa and Leon Waller of Ozark, and Fredia and Michael DeSchepper of Enterprise; four grandchildren, Leanne (Steven) Waller-Trupp, Chase Raley (Audrey) Waller, Lee (Jama) Jenkins, and Rachel Jenkins; three great-grandchildren, Natlie Jenkins, Charles Lansdon Waller, and Katherine Emily-Blake Trupp; special niece, Marie Pruitt Pierce; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Parrish; son-in-law, Virgil Hamlet; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Blake Pruitt; and brothers, Gordon Pruitt, Lenzy Pruitt, Raymond Pruitt, Lenton Pruitt, and Ted Pruitt.

Helen “Bonnie” Louise Bush

Mrs. Helen “Bonnie” Louise Bush, age 70, of Andalusia passed away at her residence on May 12, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Mon., May 16, at Foreman Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Dyess officiating. Interment will follow in Sanford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sun., May 15, at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bush is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Shawn and Kimberly Bush of Red Level and Tony and Joan Kervin of Opp; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Chad Raley of Opp; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Pearl Dewrell of Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Hue “Corky” Bush; son, Ricky Kervin; brother, Ray Smalls; and sisters, Dorothy Amerson and Missy Green.

Terry Preston Chesser

Mr. Terry Preston Chesser, age 78 of Andalusia, passed away Sun., May 15, 2016, at Baptist Hospital In Pensacola.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wed., May 18, 2016, at Fairmount Baptist Church with the Rev. John Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends starting 30 minutes prior to services.

Survivors include a son and two daughters.

 

Lisa Carol Ward

Mrs. Lisa Carol Ward, 53, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., May 13, 2016, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Mon., May 16, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Eiland officiating. Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Ward; two daughters and son-in-law, Melissa Jackson, Brittany and Nathan Frank; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jessica Ward, all of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Hunter Ward, Hailey Ward, Christian Jackson, Kyleigh Jackson, and Kaylee Frank; her father, Ward Jackson of Jackson, Ala., one brother, B. J. Jackson of Mississippi; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Kevin Hicks of Biloxi, Miss., and Sherry and David Overton of Grove Hill, Ala.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Simmons, Nathan Frank, Scotty Ballard, David Overton, Bobby McDuffie, and Bill Griffith.
