An Opp woman is facing drug charges after DTF agents and Opp Police served a search warrant on a residence.

The residence was located on West Cummings Avenue in Opp, according to Police Chief Mike McDonald.

“DTF agents located a small amount of marijuana and several individual packages of methamphetamine,” he said. “As a result of their investigation, DTF agents arrested Sharon Victoria Adkinson, a 49 year of age female resident of Opp, charging her with possewssion of a controlled substance, possession of marihuana second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.”

Adkinson was remanded to the Covington County Jail and her bond was set at $20,500.
