City’s summer food program to begin June 6 at Woodson

The City of Andalusia is pleased to announce its participation in the Summer Food Service Program again this June and July. With help from the Alabama State Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Andalusia Regional Hospital and the City’s A.P.P,.L.E. Program have partnered once again to provide an evening meal for children ages 18 and under.

Beginning June 6, meals will be served Mondays through Fridays at the Woodson Community Center (1201 C.C. Baker Ave.) from 4-4:30 p.m. The program will end July 29 (no meal will be served July 4).

Legal guardians may register children online at www.cityofandalusia.com or by visiting the Woodson Community Center, A.P.P.L.E. office, Mondays-Fridays, 1-5 p.m.
