The Andalusia Ballet will host a UDA Dance Camp June 1, 2 and 3.

The camp is for dancers ages 10 and up who have had two years of dance experience.

The camp is geared toward dance line types of dance, and should be fun for all, Meryane Martin Murphy said.

“Our kids have gone to Auburn and other areas to participate, but this is our first time to host,” she said. “We’d love to invite anyone in the area who is interested to come and participate.”

The camp curriculum includes routines technique classes, BigSis/Little Sis, and team building. UDA choreography will be taught in many styles of dance.

All participants will have the opportunity to participate in Drill Downs, All American Tryouts and Warm Ups.

The classes will meet from noon until 7 p.m. on Wed., June 1; and from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thurs. and Fri., June 2 and 3.

The cost of the camp is $250, and includes lunch on Thursday and Friday.
