The Covington County 10U All-Stars knocked off Brewton 2-0 Friday night in the opening round of the tournament.

Javen Poindexter led the way for Covington County going 2-for-2 with a triple, single and one RBI.

Nathan Fowler finished 1-for-2, and Langham Ward Williams drove in the Covington County All-Stars second run.

Williams was a force on the mound, throwing six shutout innings and allowing just one hit in the win.

With the win the, the Covington County All-Stars will play Opp at 4 p.m., tomorrow in Brewton.
