A single-vehicle crash Saturday, June 11, has claimed the lives of a Missouri couple. Walter A. Danneman Jr., 63, and Linda Kay Danneman, 67, of Hillsboro, Mo., were killed when the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox that Mr. Danneman was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught fire.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred at 10:25 a.m. on Alabama 55 at the 35 mile marker, five miles north of River Falls.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
