Marc Hamilton, CPA and second from left, is the chief financial officer and treasurer of CDG Engineers and Associates, Inc. in Andalusia. He became chair-elect of the Alabama Society of CPAs at their 97 th annual members meeting, Accounting Connections Conference, in Birmingham on June 9. Hamilton is a graduate of the University of Alabama and has performed a wide range of roles in corporate and public accounting. They include stints at international firms Deloitte and KPMG, at retailer Service Merchandise’s corporate office, Gulf States Paper Company, Saks, Inc. and a return to Gulf States Paper, now named Westervelt Company. Hamilton has served on the ASCPA Board of Directors as well as the Business and Industry Committee.
