County to destroy special education records for some

The Covington County Board of Education is scheduled to destroy special education records on Aug. 2, 2016.

Records set to be destroyed are those of students born in 1990.

If you are the parent of a child or a former student age 26, in Covington County Schools, born in 1990, you may pick up records at the Covington County Board of Education from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, July 18, 2016 through July 28, 2016.

If you are unable to pick up your records, you may request them by sending a written authorization to release the records to:

Mrs. Kelley McCollough, special education coordinator, Covington County Schools, 807 CC Baker Avenue, Andalusia, AL 36420.
