The City of Opp will host its annual 4th of July Celebration at Lake Frank Jackson State Park, Mon., July 4, 2016.

Starting at 10 a.m. the park will have free admission to everyone, and free watermelon will be available as long as supplies last. Food vendors also will be set up.

The Opp Fire Department will be selling hotdogs again this year to raise money for equipment for their department. Other vendors will sell BBQ and Kona Ice, among other items.

Starting at 2 p.m. ,Charlene Payne will kick off the live music and at 4 p.m. Today’s Yesterday Band will take the stage.

The night will end with a firework show that will start at dark.
