Early morning armed robbery suspected wanted

A Little Caesar’s Pizza supply truck driver was allegedly robbed at gunpoint behind the store early Tuesday morning, and police are searching for two suspects.

The delivery person was delivering to the store when he told police he was approached by two black men.

According to Andalusia Police, the victim stated one of the men produced a handgun and demanded his wallet and cell phone. The victim gave the men his wallet and cellphone and they fled on foot toward Dunson Street.

APD officers, the Covington County Sheriff’s Department and members of the sheriff’s posse and K9 tracking team responded to the incident.

They tracked the men to the area of Cawthon Street and Allen Avenue before the trial was lost.

Police describe the two subjects as being around 5-feet-9-inches tall to 5-feet-10-inches tall in height and with slender build.

Both were wearing dark pants.

One was wearing a red shirt around his face and the other had a dark shirt around his face, APD officials said.

Both men are at large.
