Workers were busy Wednesday putting the stage in place for this year’s July JAMZ, the free summer concert series which begins tonight in Andalusia.

Tonight’s show features Alabama blues artist Lil’ Jimmy Reed, who is just back from a concert tour in Europe. Skyler Henley and the Carroll Williams Band also will perform.

Chamber Executive Director Chrissie Duffy said the stage has changed this year.

“We appreciate all the thought that Jimmy Cox of Carolina Mill Works put into new designs for our stage,” Duffy said.

Robert Evers designed the signage which flanks the stage, and Michael Frank of Life Wave Productions in Red Level is managing lighting and sound.
