Grand jury indicts 2

A Covington County grand jury recently indicted two men on multiple charges.

Cary Scott Blackmon, 41, was indicted for two counts of theft of property II, two counts of burglary III, and theft of property III.

According to the indictments, Blackmon allegedly stole aluminum cans from the property of Coleman Moseley; for entering Moseley’s property with the intent to commit the crime of theft of property.

Indictments also state that Blackmon took a game camera and/or a box for camera from Moseley and side grinder and or drill and/or ice box from the victim.

He was arrested and booked into the Covington County Jail on $125,000 bond.

The grand jury also indicted David Allen Morris for charges of menacing and assault II.

According the indictment, Morris injured Robert Wesley Carnley with a shovel and threated to shoot him as well.

He was booked into the CCJ on a $35,000 bond.
