The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 11th Annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament in August at the Andalusia Country Club.

Format for the tournament will be a flighted 3-man best ball scramble.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce, and the tournament serves as the Chambers only fundraiser of the year.

“This is where we try to raise our operating cost,” Chamber director Chrissie Duffy said. “That’s one reason it’s important, and it’s also a great opportunity for the people in the community to come together and network.”

Sponsorships and team spots are still available to those who are interested.

Eagle sponsorships are available for $1,000. Eagle sponsorships include two team entries into the tournament, corporate signage with logo at terrace, two hole sponsorships and the opportunity to place promotional items in goody bags.

Birdie sponsorships are available for $500. Birdie sponsorships include one team entry, business name on sigange at terrace, one hole sponsorship and the opportunity to place promotional items in the goody bags.

Closet to pin sponsorships are available for $200 and include hole sponsor sign at the closet to the pin hole and the opportunity to place promotional items in the goody bags.

Hole sponsorships are available for $100, and include one hole sponsorship sign and opportunity to place promotion items in the goody bags.

Team sponsorships are $300 and include 3-man team entry, player lunches, goody bag, door prizes and awards reception.

The 11th Annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament begins Aug. 29 at 8 a.m., at the Andalusia Country Club.

“We had around 120 last year and we want even more this year,” Duffy said.
