The Andalusia Youth Football League coaches held a voluntary conditioning meeting for their players on Thursday night at the Coleman softball field to get them ready for the upcoming season.

“We are just trying to get them acclimated to the heat,” Might Mite head coach Ronnie Levitzke said. “This is just a way to get them a little more use to it before we go full pads in the first week of August.”

Levitske said that the meeting also allow the coaches and players to get to know each other.

“It also helps the new players get a chance to meet the coaches and other players,” Levitske said. “It gives us a chance to teach them about our expectations. We’ve built a really nice program here, and we are just looking for another good year.”
