The Mizell Gala is a little more than a week away and there are plenty of tickets available.

“Our ticket sales are down a little from this time last year,” said Organizer Melinda Hall.

Veritas, a contemporary group, will be this year’s entertainment.

The Veritas are a five-man group trained by Roger Breland.

The event is slated for Thurs., Aug. 4.

Mizell Memorial Hospital marketing director Kristen Averitt said the event will be held at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Center.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at MMH switchboard, SIB, CCB and the Opp Chamber of Commerce.
