Randall Carey Jordan

Mr. Randall Carey Jordan, age 59, of Dozier, passed away on Sun., July 24, 2016, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wed., July 27, 2016, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benjy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday evening at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his mother, Sheila Jordan of Rose Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Jordan of Rose Hill, Sharon Jordan of Rose Hill, Debra and Benny Bush of Brantley, Mary and Douglas Hurst of Steelville, Ill., Janice and Barry Wood of Antioch, and Jo Ann and Darrel Burns of Sand Rock, Ala.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald “Jr” Jordan of the Carolina Community, James and Debbie Jordan of Dozier, Mark and Johnnie Jordan of Rose Hill; special friend, Janice Adams of Antioch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Jordan, Sr., and a brother, Richard Jordan.

Pallbearers will include Doug Hurst, Ricky Jordan, Barry Wood, Lloyd Mitchell, and Rodney Jordan.

Mrs. Mary Stewart, age 76, of McKenzie passed away Mon., July 25, 2016, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thurs., July 28, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wed., July 25, 2016, at the chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Stewart of McKenzie; son, Ricky (Carol) Carpenter of Clanton; stepson, Larry (Tracey) Stewart of Brewton; daughters, Debra Reddish of Gantt, Lynda Dozier of Loango, and Carolyn King of Loango; stepdaughter, Cynthia (Don) Darby of Castleberry; brother, Lavon (Carlina) Stewart of Elba sister, Barbara (John) Thompson of Opp; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, AB Odom and Dessie Rae Odom; her daughters, Sylvia Leverington and Dinah Cook; great-grandson, Timothy Jaxon Lee Harrelson; brothers, Jerry Odom and Chuck Odom; and sister, Sabra Cunningham.

Mr. Galen H. Stokes, age 43, of the Heath community passed away Sun., July 24, 2016.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Wed., July 27, 2016, in the Heath Church of Christ cemetery with Minister Terry Stewart officiating and Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tues., July 26, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel.

Survivors include his mother, Martha Ann Stokes of Heath; brother, Benjamin Stokes of Greenville; sisters, Tracey Smoker of Montgomery and Kristi Ward of Panama City, Fla.

Dorothy “Dot” Ferguson Boutwell, 90, a resident of Suwanee, Ga., formerly of Troy, passed away on Mon., July 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held, Thurs., July 28, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy, with Dr. Ed Sunday-Winters of the First Baptist Church of Phenix City officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery, Troy, with Dillard Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Boutwell is survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Boutwell; son, Thomas Ray Boutwell Jr.; daughter, Tara Boutwell Irvin; four grandchildren, Brittany Hatcher (Chris), Taryn Wellham (Charlie), Thomas Ray Boutwell III (fiance, Dana) and Tamara Irvin; two great-grandchildren: Mason Hatcher and Charles Jackson Wellham; and a sister, Betty Ferguson Easterwood.

Mrs. Boutwell is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Edward and Ollie Ferguson; 2 sisters: Mildred Ferguson Calvert and Faye Ferguson; 1 brother: Thomas Ferguson. Pallbearers are: Carl Ferguson, Thomas Ray Boutwell III, Mike Boutwell, Chris Hatcher, Bobby Patterson, William Calvert, David Ferguson and Jeff Boutwell.
