Connie Bickley Freeman

Mrs. Connie Bickley Freeman, 69, of Prattville, formerly of Andalusia, passed away Tues., July 26, 2016.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thurs., July 28, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Glenn Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by two sons, William Christopher McNeil of Andalusia and Timothy William Day of Prattville; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Bickley of Andalusia and Dennis Bickley of Red Level; and two sisters, Sandy Lofton of Brandon, Miss., and Donna K. Barnette of Union Springs, Ala.

She is preceded in death by her son, Terry La Ron Frazier.

Randall Carey Jordan

Mr. Randall Carey Jordan, age 59, of Dozier, passed away on Sun., July 24, 2016, at Andalusia Regional Hospital.

A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wed., July 27, 2016, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benjy Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday evening at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his mother, Sheila Jordan of Rose Hill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Jordan of Rose Hill, Sharon Jordan of Rose Hill, Debra and Benny Bush of Brantley, Mary and Douglas Hurst of Steelville, Ill., Janice and Barry Wood of Antioch, and Jo Ann and Darrel Burns of Sand Rock, Ala.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald “Jr” Jordan of the Carolina Community, James and Debbie Jordan of Dozier, Mark and Johnnie Jordan of Rose Hill; special friend, Janice Adams of Antioch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Jordan, Sr., and a brother, Richard Jordan.

Pallbearers included Doug Hurst, Ricky Jordan, Barry Wood, Lloyd Mitchell, and Rodney Jordan.

Mary Stewart

Mrs. Mary Stewart, age 76, of McKenzie passed away Mon., July 25, 2016, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thurs., July 28, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family received friends Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Stewart of McKenzie; son, Ricky (Carol) Carpenter of Clanton; stepson, Larry (Tracey) Stewart of Brewton; daughters, Debra Reddish of Gantt, Lynda Dozier of Loango, and Carolyn King of Loango; stepdaughter, Cynthia (Don) Darby of Castleberry; brother, Lavon (Carlina) Stewart of Elba sister, Barbara (John) Thompson of Opp; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, AB Odom and Dessie Rae Odom; her daughters, Sylvia Leverington and Dinah Cook; great-grandson, Timothy Jaxon Lee Harrelson; brothers, Jerry Odom and Chuck Odom; and sister, Sabra Cunningham.

 

Joel Skinner Suggs

Mr. Joel Skinner Suggs, age 92 ,of Andalusia passed away Tues., July 26, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Fri., July 29, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Carl Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in the Stone Lake Gardens Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thurs., July 28, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel.

Survivors include his son, Eddie (Kim) Suggs of Cantonment, Fla.; stepson, Gary (Brenda) Biggs of Pensacola; sisters, Alice Grantham and Mary Harwell, both of Andalusia; nephew, Joel Williams; and niece, Janice Suggs.

In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to Southern Care Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.
