The Andalusia branch of Regions Bank is not one of some 60 branches closing in October.

The company plans to consolidate between 100 and 150 branches through 2018.

“We continue to expect to be at the higher end of the range,” CEO Grayson Hall said.

Three branches in Alabama to close are:

• A branch in Priceville;

• A branch in Rainbow City; and

• A branch in Loxley.

When deciding which branches closes, the company factored things such as traffic, volume, location of other branches and profitability.
