Crews have been on the site of the old Micolas Mill property in Opp this week working to clean up debris.

Opp Mayor John Bartholomew confirmed that there has been a crew at the property working.

In June, the city of Opp and B&B recycling reached an agreement more than a year after the city decided to seek legal action against the company to clear the debris.

More than two years ago, questionable burning was stopped at the old cotton mill.

As part of the agreement, B&B is required to remove all debris, junk, trash, etc., from the property by July 31.

It has until Sept. 30 to remove all concrete slabs/foundations.

The ordered was signed by Circuit Judge Ben Bowden on June 14.
