The suspicious death being investigated by the Covington County Sheriff’s office and District Attorney’s office has been ruled a medical death, Chief Deputy David Anderson said Tuesday afternoon.
Covington County Sheriff Dennis Meeks confirmed Tuesday morning that his office as well as the District Attorney’s office spent all night investigating a suspicious death
Meeks said they were dispatched to Mill Creek Road off of Hwy 84 East around 8 p.m. Monday.
He said deputies and investigators from his department went to the residence.
“Upon arrival, it was determined that it was necessary to conduct a suspicious death investigation after a white female was found deceased,” he said.
Meeks said that investigators worked into the morning.
“We have made no arrests at this time,” he said. “And we are working to establish whether or not foul play is the cause.”
Anderson said that the investigation was closed as of Tuesday afternoon.
