Barbara Joan Fowler

Ms. Barbara Joan Fowler, age 64, of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Sept. 3, 2016, at her residence.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Tracy and Michael Walden of Andalusia and Lisa Fowler of Crestview; grandchildren, Amanda Whatley (Chad) Ellisor, Jessica Hayslette, and Ivy Bryant; great-grandchildren, Rylan Hayslette and Parker Hall; her mother, Selma Grace Moore of Andalusia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Rhonda Moore of Wing, Jimmy Moore of Andalusia, and Danny and Sandi Moore of Dothan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carter Gabriel Maloy

Infant Carter Gabriel Maloy, of Andalusia, the son of Zane and Chelsey Maloy, passed away Fri., Sept. 2, 2016, in Mobile.

Graveside services were at 11:30 a.m. Tues., Sept. 6, at Peaceful Acres Cemetery in Opp. Visitation was at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his parents, Zane and Chelsey Maloy; his brother, Dayton Maloy; maternal grandparents, Dusty Walker and Andy and Polly Walker; paternal grandparents, Charlie Maloy and Tina and Tommy Kanaley; paternal great grandparents, Byron and Faye Hartin; his aunts and uncles, Chaz Maloy, Devin Maloy, Chad Straughan, Abby Walker, Mary Heaton, and Logan Melvin

Charles “Chuck” Rexford Stokes

Mr. Charles “Chuck” Rexford Stokes, age 58, of Florala passed away Sun., Sept. 4, 2016.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Thurs., Sept. 8, 2016, in the Andalusia Memorial cemetery. The Rev. John Eiland will be officiating and Keahey Funeral Home of Lockhart will be directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel in Andalusia.

Survivors include his mother, Angelia Morrow Stokes of Gantt; his son, C.J. Stokes of Andalusia; daughters, Heather Stokes of Trenton, Ga., and Megan (Michael) Strawder of Huntsville; a brother, Rusty Stokes of Gantt; and grandchildren, Jayla Strawder and Riley Eaker.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gina Stokes.

 

Patricia Soles Zander

Mrs. Patricia Soles Zander, age 81, of Andalusia passed away Sun., Sept. 4, 2016, at Sacred Heart.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thurs., Sept. 8, 2016, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Tom Loucks officiating. Burial will follow in the Andalusia Memorial cemetery with Kehaey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Survivors include her husband, Carlton Zander of Andalusia; his son, Jimmy (Lynn) Zander of Andalusia; daughter, Deborah Zander of Andalusia; brother, James (Hazel) Soles of Savannah, Ga.; sister, Barbara Soles Stacks of Andalusia; grandchildren, Mandy (Ernie) Mayer of Bellville, Ill., Andrew Zander of Andalusia, Chance Sullivan of Andalusia, and Casey Sullivan of Andalusia; and great-grandchildren, Colton and Samantha Mayer.

Mrs. Zander was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Soles.
