The No.3-ranked Opp Bobcats (2-0) look to continue their strong start to the season as they host Wicksburg for Class 3A, Region 2 contest on Friday night at Channell-Lee Stadium.

“They are going to be more athletic than I expected,” Opp head coach Brent Hill said. “They have a big running back that they like to give the ball to, and they have a quarterback that can also string out plays.”

Hill said that the Bobcats will continue to take advantage of what their opponents allow.

“We are still sticking with our game plan,” Hill said. “It’s going to be different this week, because they have two tapes on us with two different offenses.”

On defense, Hill said that Bobcats still need to make improvements.

“We have do a better job of hitting and wrapping up,” Hill said. “We can’t turn the ball over, and we have to create turnovers.”

Opp and Wicksburg will kickoff at 7 p.m., Friday night at Channell-Lee Stadium in Opp.
