Hospital names new directors

Andalusia Health is pleased to welcome Raleigh White as its new imaging director, and Lee Wise as its new health information management director.

raleigh-whiteWhite started in his new role on Sept. 12. He has more than 13 years of imaging director experience and comes to Andalusia from McAlester Regional Health Center in McAlester, Okla., where he served as Director, Imaging Services and Diagnostic Imaging Center. Having also served as a director for ancillary services, White brings to Andalusia proven experience in centralized scheduling as well as strategic, administrative, and budgetary oversight of radiology, cardiopulmonary, laboratory, plant maintenance, security, nutrition, environmental services, and medical preparedness.

White earned a master of arts in human resource management from Webster University, and a bachelor of science in business administration from Wayland Baptist University. He is also a graduate of CHRISTUS Health Academy and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) Academy. He is a Registered Radiology Technologist (American Registry of Radiology Technologists) and Certified Radiology Administrator (Association of Medical Imaging Management).

White is a U.S. Air Force Veteran (Honorable), 59th Medical Wing, Diagnostic & Therapeutics Squadron, and was decorated with numerous medals, including the Meritorious Service Medal.

“Andalusia Health’s imaging departments have a complement of skilled, people-centric technologists ready to serve our community,” White said. “I feel privileged to lead our team on this health care journey from good to greatness.”

White replaces Mike Holloway who retired after 35 plus years of service.

Wise is the new Health Information Management (HIM) director. She started in her new role on Sept. 12.

lee-wise-5x7Wise has more than 10 years of HIM experience in skilled nursing, acute care, rehabilitation, non-profit clinic, and hospice settings. She is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and a Certified Healthcare Compliance Officer. She attended College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minn., where she earned a master’s in health information management and master’s in information technology leadership.

Wise said, “Andalusia is the right place for my family to grow and flourish. Kindness seems to be the norm. Unashamed patriotism is evident in school and civic events and everywhere there is a sense of security. We love the outdoors and while we will miss the snowshoeing, we are looking forward to sampling everything from barbeque to the seashore.”

Wise replaces Pam Miller, who relocated to Texas after 20 years of service to Andalusia Health.
