The Opp Fire Department is doing its part to raise awareness and help fight breast cancer.

“We have been talking among ourselves about getting involved with raising awareness and helping fight breast cancer,” Chief Cory Spurlin said. “October is breast cancer awareness month and Firefighter and Advanced EMT Michael Barnes contacted the American Cancer Society for more information.”

Spurlin said they are selling T-shirts for $15 each and all proceeds will got the ACS.
