Mr. Billy Petty, 72, of the Gantt community, passed away Tues., Sept. 27, 2016 at Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, Fla.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 30, 2016 from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in Goodhope Cemetery.
The Rev. Doyle Prescott, the Rev. Ronnie Scott, and the Rev. Sonny Steele will be officiating the services.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m., prior to services at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Petty of Gantt; daughter, Twyla Petty Davis of Andalusia; son, Billy L. Petty of Andalusia; grandson, Michael Chad Petty; great grandchild, Ripley Petty; and sisters and brother-in-law, Hazel Morrow of Andalusia and Diane and Eldred Burks of Dozier.

JERRY GOODSON, SR.
Mr. Jerry Goodson, Sr., 69, of Andalusia passed away Wed., Sept. 28, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Sat., Oct. 1, 2016, in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens with Bill Pritchett officiating.
Mr. Goodson is survived by his wife, Elisa Nelly Goodson; daughters, Leslie Goodson Dollar and Lily Goodson; and grandchildren, Garrett Goodson, Taylor Dollar and Brian Dollar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Goodson and Louise Goolsby Goodson.
