The First United Methodist Church in Opp is hosting an auction to benefit Crossover Ministry.  It will be held on Oct. 22 in the Grace Building across the street from the church.
Doors will open to the public for viewing auction items at 4 p.m.  The auction will begin at 6 p.m. Hamburger and hot dog plates will be available for $5.  There will be a yard-sale section and a silent auction.  Items to be auctioned include furniture, antiques, gift certificates, and many other items.
Jason Cain will be the auctioneer this year.  If you have donations for the auction, please contact the Crossover office by calling 493-1030 to arrange pick up of these items.
The mission of Crossover Ministries is to provide a Christian recovery solution for substance abuse and addiction through the use of education, work, counseling, and the knowledge of Jesus Christ; that will help people rebuild their lives and their communities.  Crossover Ministries opened in January 2005 and it is located on Highway 52 East of Opp.
