Lisa Lundy Cender

Mrs. Lisa Lundy Cender, age 29, passed away Sun., Oct. 9, 2016, at her residence after a fatal event.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Mon., Oct. 17, 2016, at Shady Hill Baptist Church. Sister Helen Fratwell will officiate. Kymberly Carpenter Keahey will share a eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home of Lockhart directing. The family will receive friends at 5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 16, at Shady Hill Baptist Church, and the family will remain at the church all night until time of services on Monday. Gifts of food to have available during the time of visitation at the church would be helpful to the family.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Patrick Cender, Sr. of Florida; her loving children, Joseph Patrick Cender, Jr. (age 12), Zackariah Zion Cender, (age 3), Faith Ann Cender (age 7), and Nevaeh Sky Cender (age 5), all of Theodore, Ala.; her mother, Mallisa Capers of Andalusia; father, Timothy Capers of Andalusia; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Etta Mae Burgans of the Carolina community; and her brothers, Christopher (Brenda) Capers, Timothy Wayne Capers, Jr. and Justin Lamar Lundy, all of Andalusia

Mrs. Cender was preceded in death by her sister, Alisa Nicole Capers.

She was a hard worker, many times having three jobs at the same time. She loved her children dearly and was always trying to find a way to make a good home for herself and them.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Lambeth, Tyler Lambeth, Nicholas Lambeth, Russell Walker, Dennis Huckabaa, and Lonnie Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Derrick Huckabaa and Leon Burgans.
