Locals are needed this afternoon to help pack bags for the Full Tummies project.

Anyone who can help is asked to come at 1 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church.

The goal of the program is to administer bags of food to help local students who need extra meals outside of school hours.

The project currently serves elementary students in Andalusia, Opp, Straughn, Red Level and Pleasant Home.
