Despite finishing the season without a win, the young Florala Wildcats football showed heart and improvement during the course of the year.

The Wildcats started the season with some tough loses to J.U. Blacksher and Class 1A powerhouse Georgiana.

In the following week, the Wildcats gave the Red Level Tigers a run for their money in the first half of the contest, but Red Level’s senior leadership helped push the Tigers to the win in the second half.

Two weeks later, the Wildcats played host to Pleasant Home, and although Florala lost the game the Wildcats offense showed improvement.

Florala found the end zone several times, but the Eagles came away with a 59-20 win.

The Wildcats had two tough weeks against Houston County and Brantley, but ended the season with a strong performance against Kinston.
