In an effort to say, “thank you” to veterans and those currently servicing in the United States Armed Forces, the Straughn High School band will perform in concert Thursday.

SHS band director Will Parker said that this is the first ever Salute to Veterans Concert.

The concert is free and will be held at LBWCC’s Martha and Solon Dixon Center for Performing Arts.

It is set for Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m.
