The Andalusia Police Department is investigating a death at 200 River Falls St., according to a statement released late Wednesday afternoon.

An unidentified male subject was found deceased
just before 1:30 p.m., the statement said. The cause of death is under investigation.

APD Chief Paul Hudson said late Wednesday afternoon that the body has been sent to the Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.
