Local fire fighters were battling a chicken house fire Wednesday afternoon.
Witnesses reported the fire was located on Reeves Road off of Hwy. 331.
Neighbors said ambulances were on the scene as well, and neighbors said that around 7:30 p.m., fire fighters had the fire controlled.
No other information was available when the Star-News went to press.
