John Wade Jones

Mr. John Wade Jones passed away Thurs., Nov. 3, 2016, at his residence.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jones will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at 11 a.m. from Beda Church with Pastor Jonathan Jones officiating, interment will follow in Beda Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Chavers Jones of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Jim Hartline of Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Jereme and Jessica Jones of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Shaun and Amanda Jackson of Andalusia, and Jonathan and Lindsey Jones of Andalusia; grandchildren, Hannah Hartline, Kyle Hartline, Jakob Hartline, Isabella “Izzie” Jones, Kailey Jackson, John-Tyler Jackson, Cooper Jackson, Judah Jones, Rhema Jones, and Abel Jones; father and step-mother, Cecil and Barbara Jones; mother, Lettie Willcutt; brother, George Michael Jones; sisters, Rhonda Gail Moore and Edra Faye Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Hartline, Jakob Hartline, Jim Hartline, Jereme Jones, Shaun Jackson, Larry Chavers, and Mark Chavers.

Kimberly Ann Maio

Miss Kimberly Ann Maio passed away Thurs., Nov. 3, 2016, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan.

A visitation for Miss Maio will be held on Sat., Nov. 5, 2016, at Foreman Funeral Home from 5:30-8 p.m.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Maio of Andalusia; brothers and sister-in-law, Keith and Renee Maio and Zack Maio all of Andalusia; sister and brother-in-law, Faye Louise and Jon Janes of Andalusia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Joel Preston Wilkinson

Mr. Joel Preston Wilkinson, age 71, passed away Fri., Nov. 4, 2016, at his residence in Red Level.

Funeral services will be held on Mon., Nov. 7, 2016, at 2 p.m. from Fairmount Baptist Church with the Rev. Drexel Copeland and Judge Trippy McGuire officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home, and he will lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Wilkinson of Red Level; son, Clint Wilkinson of Union Springs, Ala.; daughters and sons-in-law, Bridget and Rodney Gann of Fort Mitchell, Ala., Crystal Wilkinson of Red Level, Sarah and Jake Albright of Milton, Fla., and Arizona Wilkinson of Fort Mitchell; honorary children, Annette (Randy) Huckaba, Bonita (Robert) Harper, and Larry (Joni) Brown; four grandchildren; three great -grandchildren; and a sister, Sheila Cestaro of Dothan.

Billy Charles Bailey, Jr.

Mr. Billy Charles Bailey, Jr. “Bubba,” age 64, passed away Wed., Nov. 2, 2016, at UAB Hospital. Mr. Bailey was a retired lieutenant with the Andalusia Police Department. He served 35 years before his retirement, from 1979 to 2014. Funeral services will be held on Sun., Nov. 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. from First Baptist Church with the Rev. Durwood Cleland officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Eulogies will be given by Blaine Wilson and Chief Paul Hudson.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Bailey of Andalusia; daughters

and sons-in-law, Kim and Mike Jennings of Huntsville and Lori and James Tubberville of Huntsville; son, James Thomas Bailey of Andalusia; grandchildren, Katelyn Bailey, Austin Bailey, Autumn Bailey, Kiersten Tubberville, Xander Tubberville, and Logan Jennings; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kathy Olney Bailey of Tallahassee, Fla.; and sisters, Susan Bailey of Pensacola, and Kathy Phillips of Fortaine, MT.

Pallbearers will be officers of the Andalusia Police Department and honorary pallbearers will be other officers and staff of the Andalusia Police Department. MAMIE ROSE MORGAN CHISUM

Mrs. Mamie Rose Morgan Chisum, 74, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., Oct. 21, 2016, in Pace, Fla., after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her immediate family.

A memorial service will be held at Foreman Brown Funeral Home in Andalusia on Sat., Nov. 5, 2016, at 11 a.m.

She was born in Andalusia, and graduated from Red Level High School in 1961. She was of Baptist Faith. She was a homemaker most of her life and in later years she devoted her time to the charitable organization, Meredith’s Miracles, Inc. in Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, Roy Parker Chisum; parents, Marvin Bishop and Mamie Lee Morgan; and brothers, Durwood Morgan and Marvin Glenn Morgan.

She is survived by her two daughters Angela Chisum Blackburn (Mike) of Pace, Fla.; Natalia Chisum Foster (Buddy) of Red Level; son, Christopher Roy Chisum of Milton, Fla.; and grandson, Nicholas Miller White of Andalusia; and seven step-grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Blackburn of Tallahassee, Fla., Leigh Diamond of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Beth Ann (Josh) Marky of Crestview, Fal., Sam Blackburn of Pace, Fal.; and Lane, Payton & Ansley Foster of Opp.
