The Andalusia Board of Education on Wednesday:

• Agreed to lease the old central office, located behind city hall, to the Andalusia Police Department, for $1 per year
• Accepted the resignation of Peacia Davis, AES special ed paraprofessional.
• Granted leaves of absence to Savannah Hutto, AES cafeteria worker, and Shanna Davis, AES paraprofessional.
• Approved a field trip for AHS Peer Helpers from Dec. 4 until Dec. 7. The group will travel to Baldwin County to work with Foley High School Peer Helpers.
• Set its next meeting for 6 p.m. on Dec. 19 at Andalusia Elementary.
