Gov. Robert Bentley on Thursday will join state and local leaders to announce three Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) for Coffee and Covington counties.

The CDBG grants to be announced total more than $990,000.  The grants will be used to improve accessibility for people with disabilities at an outdoor multi-purpose stadium in Red Level, improve the water system in Coffee County, and repair sewer lines in Opp.

The ceremony is set for 1 p.m. at the Red Level Community Center, 5807 Stewart St.
