Evelyn M. Pate

Mrs. Evelyn M. Pate, age 87, of Andalusia passed away peacefully at her home on Fri., Nov. 18. She was surrounded by her loving husband, children, grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tues., Nov. 22, 2016, at the Keahey Chapel. The Rev. Ed Ganus will officiate. Interment will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Martin, Bobby Spurlin, Jaime Harrison, Justin Faust, David Earl Griggs, Michael Barefoot.

Mrs. Pate was the daughter of the late Wilbur Clyde Mayberry and Emily Isabelle Rowell Nall.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving and faithful husband of 56 years, Aaron Cecil Pate of Andalusia; daughters, Sharon Taylor, Judy Griggs and Carolyn Weeks; grandchildren, Melissa K. Boggs, Regina A. Barefoot, Melonie Qualls, Marsha Qualls, Kristina L. Nelson, Stephanie N. Griggs, Joshua C. Martin, Douglas A. Nelson, Stephen P. Martin, Rachel M. Faust; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her loving parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn L. Nelson; a brother, Reginald Mayberry; and a sister, Elizabeth Sirmon.

Geohagan

Mr. Norman Wayne Geohagan, 70, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., Nov. 18, 2016, at the Andalusia Manor.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Mon., Nov. 21, 2016, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Derwood Cleland and Brother Dennis Knowles officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Geohagan of Andalusia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford and Stacey Geohagan of Huntsville, and Shawn and Kristen Geohagan of Andalusia; four grandchildren, Anna Claire Geohagan, Caleb Geohagan, Madison Geohagan, and Marlee Geohagan; a brother and sister-in-law, James Douglas and Debra Geohagan of Kennett, Mo.; three sisters, Frances Richerson of Andalusia, Linda Durden of Ozark, Mildred Pettie of Titusville, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Susan Geohagan of Dunellen, Fla.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Geohagan and a sister, Montrel Smith.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Geohagan, Steve Geohagan, Stacey Davis, Kevin Davis, Douglas Jay Geohagan, and Ashley Geohagan

Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb Geohagan and Christopher Kilpatrick.
