The City of Andalusia’s Tourism and Relocation Committee will officially open the holiday season with the annual tree lighting on the Court Square at 5:30 p.m.

The event begins with caroling from the APPLE students at 5:30. The tree will be lighted at 6 p.m., and Santa will be available for photographs until 6:30 p.m.

The city’s annual Christmas parade, sponsored by the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce, is set for Thursday night.
